Welcome to VERGE EXPLORATION, a site dedicated to the expansion of understanding the possibilities of spaceflight through out the solar system and beyond. Featuring several ideas on spaceflight and links to various articles on the subject, we hope to bring a better understanding and enthusiasm on the truth of modern day space flight.

Its not Just Sci-Fi Novels Anymore...

For years humans have dreamed of traveling to the stars, we've always been fascinated by what lies beyond our sight, beyond our realm. Science fiction books and stories have always fantasized on horrible aliens, wonderous space craft, and most of all adventure. While in truth we cannot tell of the first, the others are completely possible.

Websters dictionary defines adventure as " An undertaking involving uncertainty and risk ." Think about it, less than 100 years after the Wright brothers, we landed on the moon. THE MOON! Now Scaled Composites, Spaceship One, the first privatly funded and manned craft has entered space. The possibilities of interstellar, and even stellar travel is the ultimate, the pure and everlasting adventure. To our current knowledge the universe in infinite, thus there is an infinite realm of exploration. We have the technology, we have the knowledge, with a combined will and courage, we CAN make it to the stars!
